I did a traineeship at this company in Los Angeles in the Unitied States. The sites focus is on providing financial and demographics data about emerging markets in Asia.

I designed and developed the News section of this site. The menu on the left hand side is dynamically created from the countries in the database. For each country if there is Ecomomic data to display, the Economic Indicators tab is generated. If you click on that tab, you can see economic data for this country displayed as a line graph. The Administration area and dynamic content generation of this section was developed using PHP and MySQL.

I also designed the CSS layout for the entire site, including fixed width 3 coloum layout, and floating footer. The News section features a CSS rollover effect that highlights the region on the world map, when you rollover that link in the menu. Also when you rollover Javascript triggers a drop down menu of all the countries in that region. The News and Economic Industry tabs where also created using JQuery.
